The bulldog receptionists make it impossible to try to sort things out, as a new patient, I feel I have chosen the wrong surgery!

Excellent surgery with helpful and attentive staff. Appointments are easy to get, and the receptionists, nurses and doctors are all very caring. Highly recommended.

The reception staff are pleasant and helpful, there is no sensation of being rushed, the nurse was efficient and charming and Dr. Davies was thorough, professional, informative and just as a good G.P. should be!
Only minor criticism: the waiting room is a bit bleak, but it works.

What I like about the service is you are not rushed & everyone very friendly & caring. I am always happy to see which ever Dr is available & have recommended this surgery to several people in the past.
The only improvement I can think of is it doesn't seem to have a nurse working many days in a week, I waited quite a while to see one, which wasn't a problem to me, as was just BP check, but it may be a problem to some people who have to see a nurse often.
I had BP checked today, then told I need blood test, so have to make a 2nd appointment, which is fine, but this could have been done in one appointment. Just a suggestion.

The receptionists are sensitive and very helpful, and the nurses are extremely competent. The GPs are kind and always sympathetic, as well as keen to help.
The surgery has recently implemented aids to patient service by using the internet to make appointments and request repeat prescriptions and I find these very helpful. The more that can be done in this way to make it easier to access medical care the better. I would welcome the ability to email my GP.
The car parking is dire but patients understand the constraints under which the surgery was built, and accept it's better to park elsewhere and walk to the surgery.
